I’m so excited to finally see a new zombie map for Call of Duty Black Ops 2! This is a refreshing sight, shown is a new zombie map called “TRANZIT”. The scene is dark and takes place in what looks like an old restaurant. From looking at the video, it appears that you can pick up objects around the level and put them together to build a “Zombie Shield”. The Zombie Shield will come in handy while fending off all of the crazy zombies. Can’t wait to see more zombie updates coming soon!
Were you planning on giving Activision a billion dollars during 2009? Its a little late to turn back but that’s what you have done — and that’s only for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Activision announced that Infinity Ward’s FPS just hit the $1 billion threshold in sell-throughs. Which means, yes, that some of that billion went to retailers and not just Activision. Keep in mind that $550 million of those sales happened in the first five days, meaning that more than half of the game’s total worldwide sales occurred right at launch.
“There are only a handful of entertainment properties that have ever reached the $1 billion mark,” Activision CEO Bobby Kotick, beneficiary of some of that one billion dollars you put into this game, said, “which illustrates the power of the Call of Duty franchise and mass appeal of this game.”
If you’ve recently played Call of Duty 4: Modern Marfare you may have noticed players flying around the map appering on top of buildings outside the map, this is when the player uses a exploit to go into “UFO” mode. Well Infinity Ward has also noticed this and Infinity Ward community manager Robert “fourzerotwo” Bowling via his twitter feed: the developer is onto the recently discovered multiplayer exploits that unscrupulous players are using to cheat their way to victory.
The patch is currently ‘in the works’ so no release date for the patch has been announced.
