PlayStation Vue receives AMC’s channels

After a little over a week of launching PlayStation Vue, PlayStation has added the following networks: AMC, IFC, Sundance and WEtv. AMC and WEtv, which are included in all of the PlayStation Vue packages. For those who decided to get the Core and Elite packages, they will have access to IFC and Sundance.

As one of many who does not have cable tv, I am very pleased to hear this great news from PlayStation and cannot wait to hear what other great network additions will follow. The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul are two of my favorite shows at the moment and now I will not miss an episode!

Delay on PlayStation Store Update

PlayStation Store Update

Earlier this week, Sony launched the highly anticipated update to the PlayStation Store which revamped the look in many different countries. So far the new PlayStation Store is reported to be working fine in some countries but also other countries are having issues. Because of this, Sony has delayed the update in the United States and other countries listed in the statement below which was posted on the PlayStation Blog.

“While we’ve already solved many of these issues, we’ve decided to postpone the October 23rd launch of the new store in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. We want to be certain that you have an exceptional experience with the new store, so we appreciate your patience as we complete the final phases before launch.”

Until the update is released everywhere else, you can continue using the PlayStation Store which is still currently being updated with new content.
